Sorting hospital waste is a major challenge for hospitals as it minimises the risk of contamination and accidents.
The sector is governed by European regulations that deal with the production, packaging, storage, removal and transportation of waste and its disposal either by incineration or by containment in a final waste storage centre.
To this end, the Group has developed, in collaboration with the National Testing Laboratory (LNE), the NF X 30 501 standard and deployed a range of HOSTOSAC® products for the collection and pre-collection of infectious and soft waste.
