The MORE label: MObilised for REcycling

Under the impetus of the Federation of Plastics Processing and Composites, now known as POLYVIA, the MORE label (“MObilised for REcycling”) rewards manufacturers who are actively committed to innovation and the circular economy. It is the first European label to recognise the contribution of plastics manufacturers to the circular economy and the integration of recycled plastics into their products.

The certification process is based on the
MORE platform, a digital tool for collecting, processing and reporting volumes of recycled plastics. The data are reported online by plastics manufacturers. The platform was developed and launched by EuPC in May 2019. The Federation is the first to launch this label in Europe.

For example, the JET’SAC, J&M PLAST, PTL and SPHERE SPAIN subsidiaries were awarded the MORE label in 2020. Since the 2000s, the SPHERE group has increased the share of recycled materials in its products. The MORE label reflects a strong commitment on the part of our subsidiaries, which are adjusting their production plant to best meet the requirements of their customers and provide them with quality recycled products.

As managing director of Jet’Sac, I’m very honoured to receive this MORE label from Polyvia. This award recognises our commitment as a manufacturing company and demonstrates our progress in promoting more sustainable consumption, with products that increasingly incorporate recycled plastics, mainly from “post-household” recovery streams.

It also rewards the efforts made by the SPHERE group over the past 25 years or more to implement eco-design principles: 30% reduction in the thickness of bags or the use of recycled plastic with a low environmental impact.
